Our First Lady

First Lady Watson was born in Charleston South Carolina  and the second of three children born to Mr. & Mrs. LeRoy C. Boyd.  She grew up in   Washington D.C., where she gave her life to the Lord at age 12.She attended the   Sacred Heart  Academy in   Washington  D.C. and later attended Northern Virginia College  in Annandale, Virginia.

Her professional career started with IBM, retiring in 1990 as a Program Administrative Manager.  First Lady Watson also worked as a professional model with the Ford & Phillip Nolan Modeling Agencies in New York City  She also had a short professional acting experience.  Upon relocating to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania First Lady Watson was employed by the AMP Corporation for 5 years in the Engineering department until the merger and downsizing of that corporation in 1997. 

Following that experience, First Lady Watson joined the Southern Baptist Convention of Pennsylvania and New Jersey where she served in the Missions Division.  She later left the Convention to open up her own business, a successful full service beauty salon for women only, with an ambiance of elegance.  The First Lady also served as International Overseer of Women Ministries of the Redeeming Life Christian Fellowship Ministries International with churches in the  USA, Great Britain, Panama and  Kenya.  First Lady Watson ministers strongly in the areas of family ministries (marriage enrichment, family finance and pastor’s wives seminars).
